Vistara x Air India Merger - What should you be doing?

As Vistara prepares for its final flight on the 11th of November, let's look at how we can best position ourselves with regards to the changes to the loyalty programs and points.

I've been postponing this post for a while, waiting for all the dates to be announced—and now we have them. As of November 12, Vistara will cease to exist as a brand. Starting September 3, you'll no longer be able to make Vistara bookings for travel beyond November 11. From November 12, Air India will handle all aircraft, operations, and bookings.

This post primarily focuses on the changes to the loyalty program—specifically Club Vistara and CV Points—as well as vouchers, status, and co-branded cards. We'll explore how to best position ourselves through these transitions.
