Update 13th September: The sale is now live.
From the 13th of September until the 17th of September, Virgin Atlantic will be offering a 25% discount on all Economy redemptions, on all routes for travel until the 31st of Dec 2024.
Update 13th September: The sale is now across ALL CABIN classes on Virgin Atlantic and now just limited to Economy Awards as originally said.
I've previously discussed Virgin Atlantic on Right on Points, highlighting it as an excellent way to utilize your American Express points. Their mileage requirements are consistently low, and this sale will make them even more attractive. Additionally, Virgin offers excellent award availability, particularly for their own flights. From an Indian perspective, American Express is the only direct transfer partner to Virgin Atlantic.
The promotion when live on the 13th will be available via this link.
Here are some of the most common routes you can use this discount and the rates we are expecting to see during the sale.

Taxes & Surcharges: Virgin Atlantic's Flying Club typically charges a higher cash component on award tickets. However, given these deals, they remain a good option to consider. Taxes and surcharges vary based on the specific route and flight direction, making it challenging to list out all possibilities. You can use the booking engine on the Virgin website for accurate calculations.
