Virgin Atlantic Goes Dynamic - Taking a Deeper Look

We take a deeper look at the recent changes over at Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

On the last issue of the Monthly Newsletter, I covered Virgin Atlantic’s announcement about the changes to its frequent flyer program, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, set to take effect on October 30th.

These changes have now fully rolled out, and I have all the data to write an informed, objective post about the changes—both good and bad. As is often the case with such changes, we see people quickly jumping to conclusions by cherry-picking data to suit a particular narrative.

Note: This analysis focuses on changes from an Indian perspective, examining data for Virgin's routes from Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru to London Heathrow. We'll evaluate the entire published award calendar from November 2024 to October 2025.
